Gregory James Aziz is hailed as a legendary businessman on the same tier of Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and Steve Jobs. This has to do with his amazing work as a chief executive officer of National Steel Car. However, one thing we all can be sure of, legends are made they are not born.
Gregory James Aziz began his career by attending the HEC of Montréal business school. Here, he would gain a bachelor’s degree in production management which he would use for the rest of his career in order to achieve amazing profits for the companies he worked with.
Greg Aziz’s first real job in production management was managing the Pontiac production line for General Motors. He chose this job specifically to learn the ropes of production management. General Motors, especially the Pontiac division, was known as good training grounds for one who wants to one day be a CEO. After working here for 14 years he felt he learned everything he had to learn. It was time to move on.
He received an offer from the aerospace manufacturer Pratt & Whitney to come and work as their COO. After working in this capacity for just six years he would become the company’s next president and lead them to aerospace dominance. After working there for seven years, he would be approached by National Steel Car with an offer to become the chairman and CEO. It was here that he really shined.
Greg Aziz would pull out all the stops to make that company successful. Firstly, he made the company more environmentally friendly in order to be able to compete underneath the new green laws that both Canada and the United States were passing. To do this, he had to decrease carbon emissions and water consumption. Gregory James Aziz did so well in this endeavor that he was given an award by the Canadian Minister of the environment.
Secondly, he would acquire key businesses that would help expand the portfolio of merchandise that National Steel Car offered. Two of the foundation acquisitions were his former company Pratt & Whitney and Otis. These allowed National Steel Car to transport military goods as well as heating and refrigeration goods for the private sector. See This Article to learn more.
These good decisions would not only bring National Steel Car over its first 100 years of business but would set them up to dominate for the next 100 as well.
When locomotives were first developed a century ago, everyone realized something big was on the horizon. The world got smaller that day as merchandise was able to be transported across the country in days instead of weeks or months. Gregory James Aziz, CEO of National Steel Car, has continued that tradition of excellence in developing some of the best railroad freight cars in this industry right here in Ontario Canada. Keeping this industry alive and thriving takes some really big shoes to fill, and Gregory J Aziz is certainly up to the task. His company is more than just a train engineering facility. National Steel Car and Greg Aziz is committed to maintaining their excellent reputation through producing the highest quality rail cars and giving back to the community.

The purpose and drive of the people working at National Steel Car has allowed this company to grow and thrive for years. Not only is the team at National Steel Car developing and engineering the highest quality rail cars in the industry, they are delivered on time and exceed buyer expectations. For over a decade, National Steel Car has been the recipient of the coveted TTX SECO award for excellence.
Aziz and National Steel Car are not satisfied with all those past achievements, they are working hard every day to the pursuit of total excellence. Although they are considered to be North-America’s top rail-car manufacturer, they are always looking for ways to improve. All 2,000 employees of the company are working hard each day to create high-quality railcars while giving back to the community and surrounding locations. The employees have a sense of purpose that drives them each day they show up for work. David said that his approach is unlike other surgeries that peel off nerves before the removal of the prostate, explaining why most men postpone surgery because of the side effects caused by the procedure such as impotence and incontinence. David’s new technique entails separating the prostate from the nerves that surround it using microscopic precision to avoid damaging the sphincter and nerves. He further notes that the approach used at his center is unique, to ensure that a man’s lungs, colon, testosterone levels, prostate, and heart are all in excellent condition.
When asked about his typical day, David noted that he wakes up at 4.30 AM, and by 6.00 AM he is at his office. The doctor said that when people are asleep between 6 and 7.30, he gets to do most of his tasks. David is always on his feet throughout the day performing surgeries doing duties. He said that he carries out operations two to three times every week. David further notes that he checks on all of his patients before leaving work, which takes time because he has a lot to so.
Dr. David Samadi notes that he has a strong photographic memory. Therefore, he brings his ideas to life through working on his problems by drawing. David pointed out that he illustrates an idea immediately an idea comes to his mind. He further notes that even if an idea comes at 3 AM in the night, he will wake up and illustrate it by drawing. After that, Samadi finds the right team to make the idea work. Dr. David says that one of his most successful projects was designing the most efficient operating room in America.
